10 Minute Bids
Which one fits

Standing house, or a plan set?

The house is standing

Re-roofing, re-siding, an insurance claim: an aerial or photo report measures what's there, and it doesn't need plans. That is what EagleView's reports are built for.

The house is a plan set

New construction, an addition, an ADU: there is nothing to photograph yet. Upload the plans, and we build the house in 3D and measure every trade off the model.

With every trade

More than measurements.

  • The house in 3D, built from your plans, that you can turn and check against the drawings
  • A takeoff for each trade you order: the quantities, piece by piece
  • A material list, and a supplier order sheet to save as a PDF and send to any supplier
  • A draft bid, ready for your prices (metal roofing and siding come priced from our price list)
  • Ten trades from one upload, including framing, electrical and plumbing
  • In English or Spanish
Straight answers

What it is, and what it isn’t.

  • It's an estimate from your plans. Plans don't show everything (pony walls, field changes, what gets built differently), so we recommend a site visit before you sign or order material.
  • We don't measure houses from photos. If the house is already built and there are no plans, an aerial or photo report is the better tool.
  • You check it: you spend about 10 minutes going over the model and the bid against your plans before you send it.
Questions

EagleView alternative: questions

Can EagleView measure a house from blueprints?

Its current reports are measured from its own aerial imagery, and its price list lists aerial reports (checked October 6, 2026). EagleView did announce a roof-only blueprint takeoff back in 2016; it is not on today's price list, so ask EagleView whether it is still offered.

Is 10 Minute Bids cheaper than EagleView?

It depends on the job. For a roof that already exists, EagleView's published Premium roof report runs $24.25 to $87. From plans, our roof trade is $39 with the 3D model, material list, order sheet and draft bid. Roof and siding from plans is $58.50 with us; EagleView's published roof-and-walls report for a standing house is $91 to $105.

Do you measure existing houses?

No. We work from plans. If the house is built and you have no plans, an aerial or photo report is the better fit.

What do I upload?

The plan set as a PDF: the roof plan, the elevations and the floor plans. The more of the set you send, the more trades we can take off.

Is it an exact price?

No. Every number is an estimate built from your plans, and a site visit is recommended before you sign a contract or order material.
